Outbound Barcelona starlet Vitor Roque has informed the powers that be at the club of his desired landing spot.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Real Betis as the outfit in question.

It is of course now common knowledge that frontman Roque is on the verge of bringing his short-lived stint in Barcelona’s colours to a close.

After failing to win over either Xavi or Hansi Flick, the Brazilian has been deemed as surplus to requirements in Catalunya’s capital, with Deco and co. now actively seeking a sale.

A whole host of clubs have expressed an interest in Roque’s services to date, with the two frontrunners to strike a deal, as things stand, coming in the form of Real Betis, and Sporting CP.

And one of these two sides now appears to boast what could prove to be a decisive advantage in the race.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘The 19-year-old Brazilian striker has a clear preference: Betis. According to MD, the green-and-white team that travelled to Barcelona on Monday, made up of Joaquín Sánchez, Ramón Alarcón and Manu Fajardo, convinced the striker of the benefits that await him at the Benito Villamarín.’

It is now down to the Real Betis brass to strike a similar agreement with their counterparts at the Camp Nou.
