(Video): Own goal from the usual suspect leaves Chelsea trailing Aston Villa | OneFootball

We didn’t think that Chelsea would win today, but we certainly didn’t they would make it this easy for Aston Villa.

The Blues are behind after just 5 minutes at Villa Park thanks to an own goal from Marc Cucurella. A cross was flashed across the box and Cucurella didn’t know much about it as John McGinn’s skewed shot came off his ankles and rolled in.

It’s the worst possible start, obviously. All we wanted was to keep it tight and play out way into the game. Instead we’re playing from behind against a very excited crowd. This is already well on its way to being another 5-0 beating. We need to get our foot on the ball and steady things – a hungry Villa side could really damage us here.
