Paris Saint-Germain is having its way over the very early stages of the new season.

After scoring four goals in the 2022 Trophee des Champions Final, PSG has put out for an encore performance in its Ligue 1 season opener against Clermont Foot.

On a quick transition sequence, Lionel Messi pushed up the ball into the final third and opted to dish off a pass over to Neymar. The Brazilian forward decided against taking a shot, as he instead sent what turned out to be an assist-making pass to Messi.

Neymar has now tallied six total goal contributions in PSG’s first two official fixtures of the new season.
