The UEFA Champions League semi-final will feature a matchup between Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. Both sides are coming off eliminating German clubs as the capital club advanced past FC Bayern Munich; meanwhile, the English club eliminated Borussia Dortmund.

One player excited for the PSG-Manchester City is forward Riyad Mahrez, who spoke to RMC Sport, where Paris Fans relayed his comments. As a Parisian, the 30-year-old is eager to play against his hometown club with a chance to head to the Champions League final.

“It’s very good for me. It’s special because I’m from Paris,” Mahrez said. “I was born in Paris and grew up there, so it will be special. I’m happy to play against this team. It will be a very good game. We have others before. We will have time to think about PSG and concentrate.”
