Joao Felix was taken off at half time as Chelse beat Leicester today, and there were some questions about why.

He gave the ball away for the Leicester goal, but also got a heavy foul on him that could have injured him.

So was it a punishment sub or an injury sub? Neither, according to manager Graham Potter, who described it as a tactical change.

He wanted to get Conor Gallagher on for a bit more ball winning ability, and the midfielder brought his customary energy in place of Felix’ guile.
