Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has dropped his latest info on new strikers for Chelsea as one priority deal advances this week.
This news comes after Chelsea beat Real Betis to win the Conference League on Wednesday night after being a goal down at half time and turning it around.
The Blues ended up winning the game 4-1 in the end after a bit of a Cole Palmer masterclass in the second half, providing two beautiful assists for his team mates to grab crucial goals.
Although head coach Enzo Maresca is once again not willing to get carried away after this by insisting that Chelsea’s target for next season is not going to be winning the Champions League!
So that’s Chelsea’s season now completely over and we can finally now turn our full attentions to the summer transfer window that opens up next week.
It’s been a successful end to the season for Chelsea qualifying for the Champions League and winning the Conference League, but now they must back that up with a strong summer transfer window.

Romano is reporting that Liam Delap of Ipswich Town is progressing in a move to Chelsea, and is the priority for the club.
He says:
“Chelsea are pushing and insisting for Liam Delap as PRIORITY. Chelsea have others like Hugo Etikike on the list if Delap deal collapses. Chelsea are waiting for his decision but remember, they can offer Champions League Football, Manchester United cannot.”
This one has a feel now of being a bit further on that most are reporting or knowing about. I reckon it’s pretty close now to being done.
