Liverpool are level.

It was a good finish by Liverpool forward Diogo Jota, but he was lucky that the Manchester United defence found itself in a scramble to clear the ball following Dean Henderson’s failed attempt to punch the ball clear.

I don’t think anyone expected Henderson to stop Jota’s flick but he certainly could have done better to clear his line.

We’ve been the better side for much of the first-half without ever really dominating. Liverpool had a penalty shout which was correctly overruled following a VAR check.

Manchester United took the lead early on thanks to Bruno Fernandes, who has been directly involved in 28 goals this season in the Premier League. An astonishing record previously held by former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.

I still expect the Reds to come out on top of this game tonight but the Scousers are back in it again.
