Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino struggled last season.
The 29-year-old only scored nine goals and registered nine assists in 48 appearances. But, one bad season does not define any footballer.
The Brazilian has been exceptional for Liverpool over the years. The footage below, which has been provided by Reddit user @LiverpoolPlastic, backs up the aforementioned argument.
In fact, back in December 2020, Neville said that Firmino is one of the best players in the Premier League.
Firmino is a player that ultimately makes things happen. In 292 matches for Liverpool, Firmino has found the back of the net 87 times and registered 69 assists.
Hopefully the Brazilian can get back to his best this season.
