Leonardo Bonucci had to get up and sing a song in front of the Italy U20 squad and coaching staff as part of his initiation after taking on a new role in the Azzurrini set-up last month.
Bonucci is currently serving as the assistant coach of the Italy U20 squad, currently led by Bernardo Corradi. The former Juventus centre-back was officially appointed in October; the first coaching role of his career after hanging up his boots at the end of last season.
As is often the case with new signings at club level, Bonucci had to stand up at a team meal and serenade his colleagues as part of his initiation during his first camp. The 37-year-old chose to give a rendition of Guasto d’Amore by Bresh.

Bonucci also gave a brief speech before his performance, telling his players that it is “a pleasure and an honour to be here,” and that this is the beginning of “a new chapter in my life.”
