Vicky Losada has joined Roma from Manchester City, calling time on her 18 months with the Sky Blues.
The midfielder joined City in the summer of 2021, fresh from captaining Barcelona to their maiden Champions League title the previous season.
Losada made 12 WSL appearances during her debut season with Gareth Taylor's side, scoring three goals. However, injury has disrupted her second term at the Academy Stadium, restricting her to just two league outings.
"Thank you to the club, staff and all the workers at Manchester City for these last 2 years, you’ve been great to me since day one," Losada wrote on Instagram.
"Thank you to all the fans that have been supporting us every game and helping the growth of women’s football, you are a key part in this. And finally, thank you to all ma chicas for all the memories together, keep showing your talent and being yourself."
Roma currently sit top of Serie A with 13 wins from 15, and have qualified for the quarter finals of the Champions League after finishing second in their group to Wolfsburg.
Losada has signed a deal until the summer of 2023 with Roma, and will wear the number 14 shirt.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Vicky to Roma, a player we had identified as a top target,” said Betty Bavagnoli, Roma's head of women’s football.
“Her experience, leadership and quality on the ball will provide great examples to some of our young players and will play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our squad.”
