Bild reports that despite already signing Ermedin Demirovic and Deniz Undav this summer, VfB Stuttgart are looking to bring in another striker, this time on loan.

The two striker’s Stuttgart are looking at bringing in on loan are either Ajax’s Chuba Akpom, who Stuttgart have held talks with the strikers management. The 28 year old had an okay first season in Amsterdam but his time at the club was dampened by Ajax’s poor form which saw them finish 5th.

While Chelsea’s Armando Broja is also a target. Sky Germany reports that the Albanian is open to a move to the Bundesliga. The 22 year old spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham where he only played eight times. Atalanta’s El Bilal Touré is not an option for Stuttgart this summer.

Stuttgart have already been very active this summer as they prepare their squad for the Champions League. Not only have they made the loans of Jamie Leweling, Leonidas Stergiou and Anthony Rouault permanent but they have also brought in Fabian Rieder and Frans Krätzig on loan as well as signing the aforementioned Demirovic and Undav to give the team the best possible chance of building upon last season’s second place.
