Sky Germany reports that VfB Stuttgart are monitoring out of favour Brighton and Poland midfielder Jakub Moder.
Moder’s contract on the English south coast expires in the summer meaning that he would be available to join Stuttgart on a free transfer. The 25-year-old has only featured once for Brighton this season in the EFL Cup and has regularly sat on the bench but has not been favoured under Fabian Hürzeler.
The Poland international can play in midfield, which means that he could be seen as a replacement for Enzo Millot as the Silver medal winner at the Olympics has a low release clause that is valued at around €18-20m.
Stuttgart used the free transfer ‘market’ frequently in the summer with Yannick Keitel (SC Freiburg), Nick Woltemade (Werder Bremen) and Justin Diehl (1.FC Köln) all moving to the MHP Arena on free transfers but none of them have yet to truly cement themselves in the squad.
