Hellas Verona are extraordinarily active on the transfer market, sending Milan Djuric to Monza, Bruno Amione to Santos Laguna and Koray Gunter to Fatih Karagumruk.

It has been a very busy day for the Serie A strugglers, who are currently battling in the relegation zone and dealing with financial concerns off the field too.

They officially sold 33-year-old centre-forward Djuric to fellow Serie A side Monza today in a deal believed to be worth €2m.

Defender Gunter has returned to Turkey on loan until the end of the season to Fatih Karagumruk.

Sky Sport Italia report Verona are on the verge of securing the sale of defender Amione to Mexican club Santos Laguna for circa €3m.

This is on top of the already confirmed loans of Jayden Braaf to Fortuna Sittard, Yayah Kallon to Bari, Marco Davide Faraoni to Fiorentina.

Cyril Ngonge was sold to Napoli, Filippo Terracciano to Milan, Martin Hongla to Granada, Josh Doig to Sassuolo and Isak Hien to Atalanta.

There are reinforcements too, as so far in January they have taken Ruben Vinaigre on loan from Sporting CP, while purchasing Tijjani Noslin from Fortuna Sittard, Dani Silva from Vitoria Guimaraes, Elayis Tavsan from NEC Nijmegen and Reda Belahyne from OGC Nice.

Fabrizio Romano reports Verona are now in talks with Boavista for striker Robert Bozenik.
