Venezia have opened talks with Lazio to start sounding out a move for unneeded forward Matteo Cancellieri this summer.
The 22-year-old Italian forward returned to the Italian capital at the start of this month after a decent season on loan with Empoli, where he scored four goals and provided three assists across 36 matches, showing a number of positives.

Lazio have been hard at work in the incoming market, signing Loum Tchaouna, Tijjani Noslin, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Gaetano Castrovilli and Nuno Tavares in recent weeks. The club need to work on their outgoing market, having already sold Ciro Immobile and Luis Alberto.
Alfredo Pedulla details how Lazio are looking to ship out Cancellieri on loan again this summer and Venezia have been in contact to start exploring a possible move for the 22-year-old forward. Parma have also been interested, but haven’t moved forward with a deal yet.
