Can we just have one weekend without writing about VAR in the Premier League?
We’d love to, we’re sick of doing it. We’re sure you’re sick of reading it. But it’s happened again.
Mamadou Sakho thought he’d scored the opener for Crystal Palace at Villa Park on Sunday, but the goal went upstairs and … was ruled out.
For handball, apparently. But we’re pretty sure it came off his shoulder.
Is that seriously handball?
And would anybody have complained if the goal stood?
