Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and two other Premier League clubs have been closely scouting Juventus owned talent Matias Soule ahead of the summer.

The Argentinian forward joined the Bianconeri back in 2020 from Velez Sarsfield and progressed up the club’s youth system in Turin before breaking into the first team last season, where he netted once across 21 games.

Juventus sent Soule out to Frosinone on loan last summer to continue his development and he’s shined at the Gialloblu, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in 32 Serie A matches, sending a clear statement to his parent club ahead of the summer transfer window.

Aston Villa and more on Soule

Page three of today’s Tuttosport details how Aston Villa recently sent scouts to follow Soule and were left impressed by what they saw from the Juventus owned talent, who could be brought in to replace Nicolo Zaniolo in the summer.

Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Brentford are all also keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old, having followed him across this season, and things could heat up as the transfer market fast approaches.

Juventus would be willing to sell Soule for around €40m, but much also depends on who ends up in the dugout for next season. Should Thiago Motta take over from Massimiliano Allegri, he could decide to retain the Argentine forward for his 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 system.
