La Liga outfit Valencia have on Thursday been afforded a timely boost on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that a key member of Rubén Baraja’s frontline looks set to be available to feature against Getafe at the weekend.

The subject of personnel concerns, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines at Valencia across the week to date.

As much comes after star defender Mouctar Diakhaby suffered one of the most gruesome injuries in the recent history of Spanish football.

Owing to an accidental collision with Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni, Diakhaby was stretchered from the field of play at the Mestalla in nothing short of agony.

It has since been confirmed that the Guinean international has suffered a dislocated knee, though the damage could yet prove to be far worse, with Diakhaby likely facing up to a spell of at least 12 months on the sidelines.

In turn, it came as a further blow when, on Tuesday, word was forthcoming that another important member of Los Che’s ranks had been forced to sit out training, too.

After picking up a problem of his own against Real Madrid, Roman Yaremchuk was absent from group training with the Valencia squad on each of the last two days.

As confirmed by Mundo Deportivo, though, on Thursday, the Ukrainian marked his return to the grass.

He is, as a result, expected to be available to feature from the off, when Valencia play host to Getafe on Saturday afternoon.
