Antoine Griezmann racked up a hat-trick as Atlético de Madrid assured Champions League qualification with a win over Getafe.

The France international opened his account midway through the first half, slotting home from Rodrigo De Paul’s ball over the top.
He doubled the tally shortly before the interval by firing in at the far post after Samuel Lino helped on another floated cross.
Just nine minutes into the second half, Griezmann claimed the matchball as Lino turned provider for a second time as Diego Simeone’s side cruised to victory.
Atleti booked their place among Europe’s elite next season with an 11-point cushion over fifth-placed Athletic Club, who lost to Celta Vigo, while Getafe remain 10th.
