Valencia challenges Arsenal for Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo

Valencia are at the head of the queue regarding the signing of Arthur Melo from Juventus.

The midfielder is not wanted at the Italian giants by manager Max Allegri.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Melo has been told he can leave, while there is interest from both Valencia and English giants Arsenal.

The source adds that Valencia are currently the favourites to secure his signature.

They have put in a loan offer that includes an obligation to buy.

Arsenal may prefer a straight loan deal, or one that only has an option to buy.
