Sixteen-year-old Lily Yohannes scored on her USA debut in the second of two international friendlies against South Korea.

USA beat South Korea 3-0 and Crystal Dunn scored a 13th-minute opener, turning in a Jenna Nighswonger cross at the far post for her first goal in 75 games.

Entering the last quarter of the match, Sophia Smith rounded the goalkeeper and netted from a tight angle, before Ajax’s Yohannes opened her account from Trinity Rodman’s pass.

The game was also a landmark for Rose Lavelle, who clocked up her 100th cap for Emma Hayes’ side.

Jhennifer’s second-half brace helped Brazil beat Jamaica 4-0, Debinha struck first in the seventh minute and Marta rounded off the scoring late on.

Kadeisha Buchanan put Canada ahead against Mexico early in the second half, Lizbeth Ovalle levelling on 70 minutes to force a 1-1 draw.

South Africa won 2-0 in Senegal after a first-half double, the hosts’ hopes harmed by a 70th-minute sending off.

Peru’s Mia Leon missed a penalty in first-half stoppage time, Nicaragua then winning with Yessenia Flores’s goal before the hour mark.

After a very early exchange of goals in Bahrain, Palestine emerged 2-1 winners with Sarah Al Kurd getting the winner.

Sweden U-23s went two up against Germany U-20s in a Four-Nation Tournament, eventually being pegged back at 2-2 in stoppage time. However, the Swedes won the shoot-out 2-1. In the same competition, Australia U-23s came from two down to draw 2-2 with Poland U-23s.

France U-20s won the Sud Cup final 4-3 on penalties over their Mexican counterparts, following a goalless 90+ minutes. Japan won the third-place match 4-2 against Morocco.

Elsewhere, Uzbekistan and India played out a goalless draw.
