The US men's national team will take the field again in early June with a pair of friendlies to prepare for the upcoming Copa America tournament.

Fresh off a Concacaf Nations League triumph over rivals Mexico, the Stars and Stripes will return to action in June in hopes of making a deep run in this summer's Copa America. There will be high hopes for this USMNT squad with Gregg Berhalter expected to guide the team through the group stage and deep into the knockout phase of the competition.

Before the USMNT will the honor of playing in front of their fans as hosts of the tournament, they'll square off against two South American nations to gear up for the Copa America.

USMNT vs Colombia

The Stars and Stripes will begin their Copa America preparations on June 8 against Colombia at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.

Colombia have gotten the better of the US in their six previous meetings, winning four games and drawing twice. The two countries payed to a 0-0 draw earlier this year in January and will now meet again in early June.

The USMNT will square off against Brazil in their second friendly this summer on June 12 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. It will be the fifth meeting between the two countries, with Brazil winning all four previous meetings.

The two sides last met in September 2018, Roberto Firmino and Neymar were on the scoresheet to lift Brazil to a 2-0 victory in a friendly contest.
