Since last season, Ligue 1 Uber Eats teams have been able to make make up to five changes during a match - here's how it works.

As Ligue 1 Uber Eats is set to resume for the 2021-22 season, here's a reminder of how the rule works. According to article 535.4 of the competition rules, each team is allowed to make five substitutions during a Ligue 1 Uber Eats match in the 2021-22 season, with the following conditions: - Each team has three substitution opportunities during the match to make these five changes (a change at half-time does not count towards these three opportunities). - If both teams make a substitution at the same time, it will be considered that they each use one of their 3 substitution opportunities. Still 20 players allowed on the team sheet In addition, in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, the number of players on the match sheet is 20. That's 11 starters and nine subs. This means that the number of people allowed on the team's bench can be increased to 17 (instead of 15) if the infrastructure allows it. In this case, five additional people (instead of seven) would be able to watch the match from the front rows of the stand behind their bench (additional bench).
