Eintracht Frankfurt will face the Belgian league leaders in the Europa Conference League on 15 and 22 February.

Eintracht Frankfurt will face Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the UEFA Europa Conference League knockout round play-offs, after the draw was held at the House of European Football in Nyon on Monday afternoon.

Saint-Gilloise will play the first leg in front of their own fans on 15 February, with Eintracht on home soil in the return leg a week later. The precise kick-off times – either 18:45 CET or 21:00 CET – will be confirmed in due course.

German coach Alexander Blessin’s side sit top of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League after 18 matches. Head coach Dino Toppmöller on the draw: “In Union Saint-Gilloise, we’re going up against a strong opponent in the play-offs who have made a name for themselves on the European stage over the last few years. Their wins over Union Berlin in the Europa League last season are still fresh in the memory, as are their performances against Leverkusen in the quarter-finals. They’re not top of the table in Belgium by accident. We’ll go into the tie with respect and desperately want to reach the last 16 of the Europa Conference League.”
