Kevin Trapp (35) is in talks to join Paris FC from Eintracht Frankfurt, according to a report from Le Parisien. The newly-promoted club have identified the former German international goalkeeper as a target to bolster their options between the posts.

The 35-year-old is keen on a potential move to the French capital, and talks are advancing to that possibility. Trapp’s current contract with Frankfurt is set to expire in 2026, and Paris view the opportunity to secure his services as a great opportunity to add some experience to their goalkeeping roster. Nothing is yet finalised, but the Ligue 1 club are close to reaching an agreement.

The German stopper would be expected to provide competition for places alongside Obed Nkambadio. Trapp is no stranger to French football or Paris. He played for Paris Saint-Germain between 2015 and 2019, making 91 appearances and winning 11 trophies.
