It is no secret that Alphonso Davies is a target for Real Madrid with his contract at Bayern Munich expiring in the summer of 2025.

Los Blancos wish to capitalise on his contract situation and grab him for a reasonable fee in the summer but Bayern Munich are not giving up without a fight.

The Bundesliga champions have tabled a contract offer for the 23-year-old left-back but an agreement is not in sight.

As such, Bayern Munich set a deadline for Davies to either accept the contract offer they put forward or bring forward a proposal from the club that wants to sign him, i.e., Real Madrid by April.

Davies’ agent hits out at Bayern Munich

Now, Alponsho Davies’ agent, Nedal Huoseh, has hit out at Bayern Munich for the way they are handling the matter, claiming that the defender is being treated unfairly by the Bavarians.

“It’s unfair to receive an ultimatum from Bayern. We will decide how to proceed at the end of the season when there is more clarity. It’s unfair that Alphonso is now being attacked,” Huoseh told BILD, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

“We were close to an agreement a year ago. Then the entire club management was replaced. We didn’t hear anything for seven months. Although I tried during this time to contact the club myself.”

Continuing his attack on the club, Davies’ agent further added: “Now we are being given an ultimatum and are supposed to react within two weeks because the club is under pressure and took a long time to reposition itself in the management? That’s not fair.”

“It’s a very important contract in Alphonso’s career and we’re supposed to make the decision without knowing who the coach will be next season or what the team looks like. That’s why we think it’s unfair to react to the ultimatum.”

A move to Real Madrid now closer?

Davies’ agent’s outburst is unlikely to go down well at Bayern Munich which only increases the likelihood of him leaving the Bavarians for Real Madrid.

As has already been revealed, personal terms are unlikely to be an issue between the left-back and the Merengues.

Now it would be a matter of both clubs sitting down and reaching an agreement over a transfer fee for the Canadian international.
