Unai Vencedor has signed a new contract extension keeping him with Athletic Bilbao until June 30, 2027, adding two years to his previous agreement, which was set to expire in 2025.
Unlike his former contract, which had a buy-out fee of €40 million, the player's new deal does not contain a release clause.
The Under-21 international has made 33 appearances so far this season, one more than in 2020/21, a campaign in which he won the Spanish Super Cup after starting against both Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.
Vencedor's first-team debut came against this Sunday's opponents, CA Osasuna, in the 2019/20 campaign, and despite being just 21-years-old, Unai has already made 69 official appearances as a Lion.
