We still aren’t sure what is going to happen with this year’s Champions League final.
But that isn’t stopping Uefa putting plans in place for next season’s competition, which is due to conclude in Saint Petersburg next May.
As always, Adidas have been charged with supplying the official ball for the occasion.
And French outlet Culture PSG have got their hands on the design for the ball which will be used, which has a localised theme to it.
But the overly large stars and clash of the blue and yellow design doesn’t really do it for us. Credit for being bold with it but unfortunately it is a nyet from us.
Of course, there is still a possibility that Istanbul, who missed out on this year’s final, could be offered the 2021 game instead, with St Petersburg being pushed to 2022 instead.
In which case, it could give them some time to rethink this design.
