In his pre-match press conference, Spurs coach Thomas Frank admitted he is already wary of Achraf Hakimi's PSG ahead of the UEFA Super Cup.
Even without any summer preparation, PSG will take on Tottenham this Wednesday in the UEFA Super Cup. For Spurs manager Thomas Frank, it’s a situation that appears unfavorable, but it could also turn into an advantage for the Parisians.
"It's true, we’ve had a more typical pre-season and as coaches, we always prefer a normal build-up. But from another angle, PSG's situation has its upsides: they were playing just a month ago, so they haven’t lost everything—there’s still a competitive edge in their bodies, and they’ll come out with plenty of freshness," the Danish boss explained.
Ahead of the UEFA Super Cup, Tottenham completed a full pre-season with six friendlies: 2 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat.
