UEFA has reminded all nations participating at EURO 2020 of their obligations vis-à-vis tournament sponsors, after Portuguese attacker Cristiano Ronaldo and France midfielder Paul Pogba moved Coca-Cola and Heineken bottles out of the camera shot in respective post-match press conferences in recent days.

Sources tell L’Équipe that UEFA’s principal frustration lay with Ronaldo, as there is more understanding around players seeking to remove alcohol for religious reasons from being beside them. At the moment, UEFA does not intend to handed down any disciplinary sanctions.
