The Europa Conference League entered its quarter-final stage on Thursday with all teams fighting to gain the upper hand in their ties.
Hereâs how it all went.

Leicester were held to a goalless draw at home to PSV as both teams struggled to fashion goalscoring opportunities on the night.
Kasper Schmeichel was called into action early on with a stunning save to stop the hosts from going behind. Mario GĂśtze just about beat the Foxesâ offside trap but his close-range attempt was expertly stopped by the onrushing Danish goalkeeper.
Although PSV looked dangerous on the break Leicester grew into the match. They were close to breaking the deadlock when Harvey Barnes and Kelechi Iheanacho combined on the edge of the area before Barnes rifled a shot that was only kept out by the corner of the bar and post.
Iheanacho himself came close and PSV had a penalty call waved away in the second half but neither goalkeeper was particularly threatened as the game ended 0-0.
Scorers: Pellegrini 43â˛; Wembangomo 55â˛, Vetlesen 89â˛
Roma travelled to Norway keen to make up for the thrashing they suffered at the hands of Bodø/Glimt in the group stage.
A tight first half was brought to life when Henrikh Mkhitaryanâs clever flick released Lorenzo Pellegrini. Despite the tight angle the Roma captain dispatched a fierce strike into the roof of the net the give the visitors the lead.
The Norwegian side were given a lifeline early into the second half when defender Brice Wembangomo scored his first goal for the club. The 25-year-oldâs curling effort from the edge of the area was deflected and Rui Patricio couldnât adjust in time, helplessly knocking the ball into his own net.
The hosts had the better of the second period and deservedly found a winner in the 89th minute. Hugo Vetlesen met Amahl Pellegrinoâs free-kick with an empathic header which, via a deflection, completed the comeback and gave the Norwegians the advantage heading into the second leg.
Scorers: Gerson 13â˛, Payet 45â˛; El Kaddouri 48â˛
Marseille set a new club record of six consecutive European wins with a first-leg victory over PAOK courtesy of a Dimitri Payet masterclass.
Their night got off to a perfect start when Payet played a sumptuous through-ball to Gerson who, unmarked, had drifted into a pocket of space in the box. The Brazilianâs left-footed volley left Alexandros Paschalakis rooted to the spot and gave OM the lead.
Payet then got his name on the score sheet in exquisite fashion, scoring straight from Cengiz Ănderâs corner. The 35-year-old, standing 30 yards from goal chanced his luck with a half-volley that flew into the top corner to double the hostsâ advantage.
Looking to change their fortunes PAOK brought on Omar El Kaddouri at halftime. The Moroccan wasted no time making an impact, halving the deficit with a perfectly placed finish from Andrija Ĺ˝ivkoviÄâs backheel.
The game descended into an end-to-end encounter and Gerson was sent off in the 94th minute, but Marseille held on for the victory and set a new club record.
Scorers: Sinisterra 10â˛, Senesi 74â˛, KĂśkçß 86â˛; Olayinka 41â˛, Sor 68â˛, TroarĂŠ 90+5â˛
In the dayâs earlier game Feyenoord and Slavia played out an enthralling 3-3 draw as Ibrahim TraorĂŠâs 95th minute back heel keeps this tie finely balanced.
The hosts took the lead in the 10th minute when Luis Sinisterra finished off a swift counter-attack. Slavia then turned the game around, slightly against the run of play.
Peter Olayinka drew them level before half-time with a scrappy goal that had more than a hint of offside before Yira Sor, who had just missed a glorious opportunity, poked home from close range at the hour mark.
The twist and turns werenât done as two goals in twelve minutes for Feyenoord looked to have sealed the win but with the last kick of the match, TraorĂŠâs back heel levelled the two sides once again.
