Just when you thought Manchester United’s season couldn’t get any worse, they somehow managed to hit a new low.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side travelled to face relegated Huddersfield Town on Sunday with a place in the top four still to play for.

But after Scott McTominay got the ball rolling with an early goal, United were ultimately held to an embarrassing 1-1 draw which officially ended their hopes of playing Champions League football next season.
