According to Voetbal International, Dordrecht’s Augustin Drakpe has reportedly received interest from Turkey. The 23-year-old defender has turned heads since his January Keuken Kampioen Divisie transfer.
Drakpe originally started in the Sparta Rotterdam youth, where he played in the Second Division until he signed for SV Spakenburg. The defender performed well in Chris de Graaf’s team, and earned a move to Dordrecht at the start of this year.
At Dordrecht, Togolese youth international Drakpe made 16 official appearances. He was elected Man of the Match several times and became a regular in Melvin Boel’s team.
His performances have been noticed by clubs in Turkey. Sivasspor, who were relegated to the second level last season, have shown concrete interest. A ‘club from the Süper Lig’ have also inquired about the defender. Drakpe is still contracted to Dordrecht until the summer of 2026, and there is an option to extend for another year.
