FC Augsburg's Lasse Günther is joining SV Elversberg with immediate effect, the club confirmed via an online statement.
The 22-year-old left-back, who most recently played on loan for Karlsruher SC, will continue his career in the 2. Bundesliga.
During the 2024-25 campaign, Günther made 20 appearances and provided one goal as well as two assists in that timeframe.
Both clubs have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer for the man who originally joined Augsburg from Bayern's U-19 side.
The Bavarian club's managing director Michael Ströll wished Günther well for the rest of his career.
"Lasse took his first steps in the Bundesliga at FCA, but unfortunately has been repeatedly set back by minor injuries in recent years.
"He wants to make a fresh start in the 2. Bundesliga in Elversberg, and we want to fulfill his wish.
"We thank him for his efforts in Augsburg and wish Lasse all the best and much success for the future," he said.
