Talks will continue today for Chelsea to sell one of their players that is a key deal likely to be connected to other deals.
There has been no breakthrough after more talks happened yesterday, but there will be fresh talks continuing across today according to the latest report from Fabrizio Romano last night.
We are talking about Chelsea trying to sell Christopher Nkunku to Bayern Munich, who seemingly only want to loan him and Chelsea only want to sell him. It sounds like they are not even close on an agreement yet though, but that could soon change I guess.
This deal is likely going to be connected to Chelsea signing Xavi Simons, because Chelsea need sales done before they can go through with more new signings by the looks of things.
Romano has given Simons to Chelsea an 85% chance of happening in a report from this morning, so that does sound positive.
But the last report on that Simons came a few days ago when Romano did ensure that Chelsea are still in talks to sign Simons but as he’s said all along, the club need to make some sales first as well.

Romano said on his latest YouTube video last night:
“No breakthrough in talks today for Nkunku.
“Bayern are trying to be creative with the structure of the Nkunku deal; a loan with an option, could become an obligation. Chelsea insists on a permanent transfer, so there is still a gap. Negotiations will continue tomorrow.”
Let’s hope that they can come to an agreement on this deal today then, but only time will tell whether they can or not.
