Arsenal will entertain PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates Stadium this Wednesday evening as they try to secure a positive result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Gunners secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Everton recently, so they will be full of confidence ahead of this European showdown versus the Dutch outfit.
Mikel Arteta will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make some changes to his starting XI for this game. Both Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus will get a chance to impress from the start of this clash against PSV.
Aaron Ramsdale will probably get the nod to start in goal for the Gunners after being rested last weekend. William Saliba will function alongside Gabriel at the centre of Arsenal’s backline as they look to keep the PSV attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.
Ben White will fill in as the right-back while Oleksandr Zinchenko looks to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Arteta will give both of them the license to get forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.
Takehiro Tomiyasu will offer cover for the right-back spot on the bench.

Midfield
Fabio Vieira, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard will make up Arteta’s midfield as they focus on dominating possession at the centre of the park and engineer enough chances for the Gunners to win this contest in the Champions League.
Kai Havertz and Jorginho will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second half if told to do so.
Attack
Leandro Trossard will try to catch the eye as the left-sided wide player while Bukayo Saka hopes to give a good account of himself on the right flank.
Gabriel Jesus will spearhead Arteta’s attack down the middle. The Brazilian talent would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet versus PSV in midweek.
Eddie Nketiah will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages if needed. However, Gabriel Martinelli will be sidelined for this clash due to injury.
