Sought after this summer, Simon Banza—who is coming off a stunning season in Turkey with 22 goals and 7 assists—has flatly rejected a €9 million offer. That offer came from Al Jazira. The Portuguese management considers the proposal attractive, but Banza is having none of it. The Congolese forward has no desire to play in the United Arab Emirates.

This firm stance has infuriated Braga's president, who is now threatening to relegate Banza to the reserve team if he doesn't accept the Middle Eastern opportunity.
