Spurs transfer news: Lo Celso undergoing medical ahead of Tottenham move

The Telegraph (h/t Sun) claims that Giovani Lo Celso is undergoing his medical at Tottenham ahead of a transfer from Real Betis.

The Argentine has been linked with a move to Tottenham in the summer and the two clubs have agreed on a fee of £55million (h/t Sun).

The 23-year-old was excellent at the La Liga club last season after joining them from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Argentine made the move permanent in the summer but seems set to leave them after just one season.

Lo Celso scored nine goals for Betis in the previous La Liga campaign, and also represented Argentina in the Copa America.

Tottenham looking good ahead of the season

Lo Celso would be another fantastic signing from Daniel Levy in the summer after the capture of Tanguy Ndombele.

The Argentine can score goals from the midfield and can create goals too. The 23-year-old can play further up top, and it will be interesting to see where he slots in should the deal be completed.

Tottenham don’t have a lot of time to complete the transfer and hopefully, everything goes on without any problems.

Spurs already had a fantastic first XI and the additions of Ndombele and Lo Celso will take the team to the next level.
