The January transfer window is rapidly approaching deadline day, which means a frantic push to get significant deals over the line. Kalvin Phillips' move to West Ham could be done today while Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have all been linked with a huge push to land Karim Benzema on loan.

The Gunners continue to be touted to bid for Martin Zubimendi but players will have to be sold if they are to make a splash in the transfer market while abiding by financial fair play rules. Jakub Kiwior is one player said to potentially be on his way.

Young Lille defender Leny Yoro will not be joining Paris Saint-Germain in January, amid links with Tottenham and Manchester United.

Chelsea defender Thiago Silva says he is “super relaxed” about his future.

Silva’s contract at Stamford Bridge is due to expire this summer and the 39-year-old has been linked with a return to Brazil. Fluminense are interested in the centre-back, who began his career at the Brazilian club, but it remains to be seen if he stays at Chelsea.

Asked about his future, Silva said: "I don’t have anything scheduled for later.

"There’s nothing scheduled here. I’m just looking to have fun. We know [my career] is almost over, but it’s not the end yet, so pick the right time."
