Arsenal prepare €100m Tchouameni bid

Arsenal are set to increase their bid for Aurelien Tchouameni to €100million (£86m).

The Gunners have reportedly failed in a bid worth €80m (£68.5m) for the midfielder, who’s future at Real Madrid is uncertain following the arrival of Jude Bellingham.

Spanish publication Nacional report that “the answer was negative” from Real Madrid when Arsenal lodge their first bid, and will now return with another.

Nacional claim such an off will “force [Real Madrid chairman] Florentino Perez to rethink the situation”.

Arsenal confirm Russo signing

Arsenal have completed the signing of England striker Alessia Russo.

The 24-year-old is joining on a free transfer after her contract with Manchester United expired.

Arsenal have been tracking Russo since January and failed with two bids for her then, with the second worth a world record fee of around £500,000.

Solomon’s Spurs medical rescheduled

Manor Solomon’s move to Tottenham is set to be confirmed this week, with his medical scheduled for later this week, and veteran agent Pini Zahavi has been praised for his week in getting the deal done.

Spurs are not due to pay a fee for the winger, although Shakhtar Donetsk are set to contest that over FIFA’s ruling allowing Ukrainian Premier League players to leave their clubs for free after Russia invaded the country.

Solomon’s agent, Ben Ezra, has told ONE: “We are all full of appreciation and thanks to Pini Zahavi who is the one who made the whole deal.

“He is the strongest agent in the world and has the most senior Israeli client. We all thank him for the deal with Tottenham.”
