The transfer window is now open and Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all busy on deals. The Gunners have seen an opening bid for Declan Rice rejected, and are now preparing a huge second offer, and are reportedly also set to make another approach for Chelsea forward Kai Havertz.

The Blues, meanwhile, have agreed personal terms with Villarreal forward Nicolas Jackson and are also working on signing a new midfielder. Brighton star Moises Caicedo is strongly linked with a number of big clubs but wants to move to Stamford Bridge, with Arsenal pulling out of that rice as they focus on Rice. Chelsea have ended their interest in Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, with Manchester United now in pole position.

Over at Tottenham, Leicester duo James Maddison and Harvey Barnes have reportedly been the subject of a £50m double bid, while Dejan Kulusevski has finally joined permanently for around £25m. United have given up on bringing Harry Kane to Old Trafford, while they also look set to miss out on Kim Min-jae as Bayern Munich close in on signing the centre-back. Chelsea yet to make Casadei decision

Cesare Casadei is open to a loan move away from Chelsea, though does not want that to be at a Championship side.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the 20-year-old has three offers from clubs in the division, but he wants to play either in the Premier League or Serie A.

Chelsea and Casadei are yet to make a decision on his future, but will do so in the coming weeks.

Firmino on Real’s shortlist

Real Madrid will consider a move for Roberto Firmino if they are unable to land any of their top targets this summer.

The Brazilian is a free agent after leaving Liverpool at the end of his contract, and Real have a void to fill up front after Karim Benzema’s departure.

The Mirror report that the Spanish side want to bring in Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane or Kai Havertz, but will turn to Firmino if those three forwards prove out of reach.

Bayern dismiss Barcelona interest in Kimmich

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has hit out at Barcelona’s attempts to “flirt” with Joshua Kimmich.

Xavi has spoken of how much he admires the German midfielder, as the club look to replace Sergio Busquets, but it would appear Kimmich is not the man that will be filling that void.

“I don’t understand why they openly and offensively flirt with our player,’ Hainer told Sky Sport.

“Joshua Kimmich is an absolute cornerstone for us. He’s firmly in our plans for the future, for sure.”

Van Dijk ‘very positive’ about new season

Virgil van Dijk is already looking forward to the new season at Liverpool, hinting there are more signings to come this summer.

Alexis Mac Allister has already been secured from Brighton, while Van Dijk insists he is comfortable with his own position at the club heading into the final two years of his current deal.

He said: “I still have two years left on my contract and I assume that they (Liverpool) still consider me important for the team. If not, I am sure I would have heard about it.

“My contact with the manager is good and I feel very positive about things again. The way we finished the season motivates me to go into pre-season with the new players who are coming in.”

Hazard to keep playing?

Eden Hazard has been in attendance at Belgium’s match against Austria tonight, presented to the fans at half-time as they paid tribute to the winger after his international retirement.

The Belgian is currently without a club after agreeing to rip up his Real Madrid contract, and there reports initially that he would retire from professional football.

L’Equipe report that a move back to his home country could persuade Hazard to keep playing though, while there are also MLS sides keen on signing the 32-year-old.

Min-jae to Man United looks off

Manchester United were favourites to sign Kim Min-jae, but that move looks off now.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Bayern Munich are close to agreeing personal terms with the Napoli defender, and will activate his release clause of £42m when it kicks in at the start of July.

United will have to turn their focus elsewhere as they look to strengthen at the back.
