A big start to the week saw Chelsea confirm Enzo Maresca as their new manager on a five-year deal, then just hours later Kylian Mbappe was finally unveiled by Real Madrid. It should prove the beginning of a busy few days, with Tosin Adarabioyo due for a Blues medical before becoming Maresca’s first signing. Brazilian wonderkid Estevao Willian is another deal still in the works amid fresh links with Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz, who is reportedly also of interest to Tottenham.

Arsenal continue their search for a new striker, having grown frustrated with Gabriel Jesus and deciding to sell Eddie Nketiah for £30million. Alexander Isak is the dream but deemed a deal unlikely to be done, so RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen are now targets. Emile Smith Rowe, meanwhile, is being tracked by Fulham and could also be sold, along with Takehiro Tomiyasu, to find a big-name new arrival.

Erik ten Hag is still unsure over his future at Manchester United, but the club continue to scour the transfer market. Michael Olise is a top target, but he could stay at Crystal Palace as Spurs track team-mate Eberechi Eze. Goncalo Inacio is the latest defender target, also is also being tracked by Liverpool and available for £51million, but Bruno Fernandes is said to have been in secret talks with Bayern Munich and offered to Barcelona.
