Mohamed Salah has been offered the chance to join Barcelona on a free transfer when his Liverpool contract expires in 2023. That’s a huge claim made by the The Mirror, who suggest Liverpool could be tempted to sell the Egyptian forward this summer rather than lose him for nothing in 12 months time.

The Mirror also claim that Liverpool have identified Raphinha as a possible replacement for Sadio Mané, and Takumi Minamino could be offered to Leeds United in a part-exchange deal for the Brazilian.

Manchester United are now in advanced talks for sign Frenkie de Jong after agreeing a fee in the region of €80m with Barcelona, according to Catalan outlet Sport. There are still suggestions that the player is not wholly convinced about moving to Old Trafford, however.

And Manchester United look set to miss out on Ajax starlet Jurrien Timber, with The Mirror reporting that the 20-year-old is more likely to sign a new contract and stay with the Dutch giants for now.

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has reiterated that Robert Lewandowski is under contract with the club until 2023 and there are no plans to sell him this summer, which could be bad news for Barcelona.
