With just under a week to go in this January transfer window things are really hotting up in the rumour mill.

Let’s take a look.

🦁 Domestic deals

According to CBS Sports, Arsenal could add to their striking options this week by signing Real Madrid forward Luka Jović on loan until the end of the season.

The London Evening Standard meanwhile say that the Gunners are moving on to Alexander Isak, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Jonathan David as their hopes of signing Dusan Vlahović fade.

The Athletic say that Manchester United are believed to have stepped up their pursuit of a permanent manager for the summer with Erik ten Hag, Mauricio Pocettino and Simeone Inzaghi all in the frame.

Cody Gakpo is one of Europe’s hottest properties right now and Voetbal International have claimed that both Manchester City and Liverpool have been in contact with PSV over the 22-year-old.

🇪🇺 On the continent

Barcelona are, according to El Chiringuito, set to add Cesar Azpilicueta to their ranks with the Chelsea captain heading to Camp Nou on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Anthony Martial’s disappointing United spell looks to be over momentarily with Sevilla set to sign the French forward on a six month loan deal, as per several sources.

Jesse Lingard looks like he could be on his way out of Manchester United with French side Nice believed to have inquired after the forward over the weekend, report Le10 Sport.

Bayern Munich have reportedly made contact with Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, although Marca say a deal for the Netherlands international is unlikely this month.

🗣 From the horse’s mouth

““We received some important offers for him. Offers that were very substantial but we never got any feedback from his agents. On our side there has always been great transparency. I refer to what Barone said yesterday, all our doors are open.”

Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade on Dusan Vlahović’s potential exit from the club.

🔙 In case you missed it

It was a relatively quiet Sunday on the transfer front with arguably the biggest deal coming in Serie A with Jeremie Boga moving from Sassuolo to Atalanta.
