Marseille interested in Premier League and Bundesliga target Johan Bakayoko | OneFootball

According to a report from La Provence, Olympique de Marseille are interested in PSV winger Johan Bakayoko (22), who remains a target for clubs in the Premier League and the Bundesliga.

Marseille are in the market for a winger this summer following the departure of Luis Henrique (23) to Internazionale Milan. However, they have yet to make great strides in finding a replacement for the Brazilian.

There had been reports that the club were interested in Bakayoko’s teammate Noa Lang (26), but the Dutchman appears close to a move to Serie A side Napoli, while interest in FC Copenhagen’s Roony Bardghji (19) collapsed over fitness concerns.

La Provence writes that Marseille have not progressed much with their interest in Bakayoko, with the Marseille-based outlet writing that PSV have only heard of the club’s interest, while other teams have made more concrete moves.

The Belgian winger’s contract with the Dutch champions expires in 2026, so there is perhaps an onus on PSV to sell this summer to avoid losing him for free.
