Benin international Arthur Atta will continue his journey in Serie A. After an impressive season on loan, he has signed a permanent deal with Udinese Calcio until 2029.

On Friday, June 27, 2025, Udinese Calcio officially announced the permanent signing of Arthur Atta from FC Metz. Loaned last summer by the Ligue 1 side, the 22-year-old midfielder quickly won over the Italian club’s management with his consistent performances in the heart of midfield.

During the 2024-2025 season, Arthur Atta made 27 Serie A appearances for Udinese, setting a personal record in the league. Even before his successful first campaign in Italy, the Cheetahs star featured 21 times in Ligue 1 for FC Metz in 2023—a clear sign of his steady rise and ongoing development.

Atta is now committed to Udinese until June 30, 2029.
