Trabzonspor pushing for Jérémie Boga-Batista Mendy exchange with OGC Nice | OneFootball

Trabzonspor are pushing to sign OGC Nice forward Jérémie Boga (28) and are looking to include Batista Mendy (25) in the deal, as per L’Équipe.

Nice are looking to offload Boga this summer. After a strong first season with the club, he failed to build on that last season. Between injuries and inefficiency, he played a marginal role as Le Gym secured qualification to the preliminary phases of the UEFA Champions League. On a high salary, he, like Gaëtan Laborde, who has already left, is one of the players that Nice are looking to move on.

Trabzonspor are interested but can not satisfy Nice’s demands. As a result, they are looking to include Frenchman Mendy in the deal. However, for now, talks between the two clubs are not significantly advancing. Mendy is also a target for Sevilla and Real Betis. Boga himself has also yet to give a green light to a move to Trabzon.
