Destiny Udogie is available again for Tottenham as they prepare to host Bournemouth on Saturday.

A knee injury has kept the full-back out since the opening match of pre-season, with Udogie playing no part in the first two games of the Premier League season.

However, speaking at his pre-match press conference, Thomas Frank confirmed that Spurs have been boosted by Udogie’s return to fitness.

“Destiny will be in the squad tomorrow so that is a positive,” Frank said.

Udogie is likely to have to settle for a place on the bench with Djed Spence impressing at left-back and earning a first senior England call-up.

Xavi Simons is on the verge of completing his move to Spurs for just over £51million but that has not been done in time for him to feature against Bournemouth.

Yves Bissouma remains out with injury and although Radu Dragusin is closing in on a return to training after an ACL injury, he is not expected to be in contention to play for a number of weeks.

“Dragusin is on the way back and he's been running for a while.

“I think he should join the team in a week's time, 10 days' time, I think that's the thing, so that's positive, but of course it is an ACL. I'm always a little bit more, not worried but just aware that it takes time.

“When you've been out of football for nine months, you know, you need to get in. It's not enough to have a six-week pre-season.”

Richarlison is set to keep his place up front after a superb start to the season, while Brennan Johnson will hope scoring in both Premier League matches so far is enough to get the nod on the left wing.

The main decision for Frank comes in midfield. Lucas Bergvall is an option to come in if Frank wants more creativity, though the trio of Joao Palhinha, Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr were hugely impressive against Manchester City.

Tottenham predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Spence; Palhinha, Sarr; Kudus, Bergvall, Johnson; Richarlison

Injured: Dragusin, Takai, Maddison, Kulusevski, Bissouma
