Tottenham Hotspur are now expected to part ways permanently with defender Japhet Tanganga in the summer.
The 24-year-old is currently spending time away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on his second loan spell of the campaign with Millwall.
Opportunities under Ange Postecoglou have not come for the Spurs academy product which could see him made surplus to requirements at Hotspur Way.

According to a report, the north London club could look at selling Tanganga in the summer for a fee in the region of £3m.
Although Tanganga’s contract is due to expire in the summer, Spurs do hold the option to extend his stay by a further year.
Regardless of his contract situation, having been sent out on loan twice this season, it does not look like he is in the plans of Postecoglou.
Tanganga has not played much football at all this season over his two loan moves, but his opportunities at Spurs look incredibly bleak with the likes of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven setting the standard.

His time at Millwall has not gotten off to the best of starts and he was reduced to a place on the bench in their recent game against Ipswich Town.
But this has not deterred the 24-year-old who remains ambitious and has even spoken recently about his hopes to one day win the Ballon d’Or.
It would be a shame to see Tanganga’s time at Tottenham fizzle out in the way which it seems to be doing.
After all, this is a player who Jose Mourinho had a lot of faith in and called him ‘amazing‘ during his time in north London.
However, we need to be ruthless in the decision making at the club in terms of which players are good enough to take us forward.
And it has to be said, Tanganga is not a player who is currently up to the standard of doing that.
If he is to leave in the summer, then it would be a huge plus if we are able to bring in some money for him, but at a fee of around £3m, perhaps the club look to allow him to leave on a free and choose his next side.
