Tottenham will be without captain Heung-min Son for the first leg of their Europa League semi-final against Bodo/Glimt.

Son has not played for Spurs since the 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt on April 10, having finally succumbed to a troublesome foot injury.

Last week, manager Ange Postecoglou expressed hope that the skipper would return for the visit of the Norwegian side, but Son was absent from training with the rest of his team-mates on Wednesday morning.

Son is now in a race to be fit for the trip to Norway next week for the second leg.

Manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed: "He won't feature tomorrow night.

“He's out training but still separate from the group. He's still improving and hopefully we can get him back soon."

Son has scored 11 goals in 43 appearances this season, but none from open play since January 23 - a run of 15 club matches.
