Tottenham will hope to quickly shrug off their galling defeat by Newcastle as they battle for Champions League qualification.

Spurs were utterly abject in a woeful 4-0 demolition by Eddie Howe’s side at St James’ Park and they now face a critical run of fixtures in their fierce fight for a top-four finish.

After a week off owing to the FA Cup semi-final schedule, Tottenham face the small matter of a home showdown with fierce rivals Arsenal on April 28 before another London derby against Chelsea is then followed by a trip to face Liverpool at Anfield.

Ange Postecoglou’s side also face Manchester City next month in a tough run to end the campaign. Here is all the latest Tottenham injury news and latest return dates...

Pedro Porro

Spurs’ latest injury blow was sustained at Newcastle, where right-back Porro limped off in the early stages of the second half having appeared to tweak his hamstring.

After the game, Postecoglou said of the Portuguese: “He felt something in the first half and he wanted to see how it went in the second half. I haven't checked with the medical team yet but we'll see what the issue is.”

Tottenham will now assess the problem and it remains to be seen if Porro will face any potential layoff.

Potential return date: Unknown

Richarlison

Tottenham remained without Richarlison at Newcastle, with Postecoglou confirming before the trip to Tyneside that he wanted to give the Brazilian extra time to recover from a knee injury that has bothered him since early March.

"Not for this week,” Postecoglou said. “He's close and, obviously with the weekend off next weekend, it'll give him time to recover - and he's on track to do that.”

All being well, Richarlison should presumably have some involvement in the north London derby.

Manor Solomon

The Israel international underwent initial surgery on a knee problem but needed a further procedure in March and is currently working on his rehabilitation.

He is unlikely to return to action before the end of the season.

Potential return date: Summer 2024

Ryan Sessegnon

Sessegnon has been plagued by hamstring injuries over recent seasons and needed another operation in February after being hurt again while on duty with the Tottenham Under-21s.

The versatile left-back had surgery on his left hamstring last year, while the most recent procedure was on his right hamstring.

It is hoped he will be able to avoid any recurring issues in future, though for now Sessegnon will surely not play again this term.
